War Horse: The Real Story

I don't know how many of you caught the recent Channel 4 program depicting the real war horses of the First World War, but I thought I would take some information from that and from my own research and show you some photos and background of these fantastic brave horses.

Warrior

Warrior carried General Jack Seely, a good friend of Winston Churchill, through the horrors of war.

Warrior was always brave, and reported never to run away or back off from battle.

He was dubbed "the horse the German's couldn't kill"

One day, Warrior went lame and the General had to ride another horse, who was killed by a shell in battle. The General broke 3 ribs but thanked his lucky stars he wasn't riding Warrior.

Warrior survived the war, and returned home to the Isle of Wight where the General continued to ride him around the countrysides until 1938.

Warrior died in 1941, aged 33 years old.

Should Rihanna get back with Chris Brown?

I have mixed feelings about this one! I get that everyone deserves a second chance and makes mistakes blah blah, but then again he DID make her face black and blue!

I just actually found out that apparently she had bite marks on her body too!

Another reason she shouldn't is that after she did campaigning for domestic violence, to get back with him would completely undermine all the work she did and ruin her role as an influential woman to other womem suffering domestic violence.

Here are some photos of her looking her best!

My Brand New Blog!! Take a peek :)

I have decided to create a new blog and share my knowledge of mental health nursing to you all!

It is surprisingly interesting to learn about why you are the person you are today and find out how people's minds work, why we get anxious, and why some people become psychotic and some don't.

Please follow my blog, give it a chance, and if it absolutely bores you to death then just unfollow! :) (but try not to!)

I am putting up new posts on it as we speak so maybe check them out!

My poor lame horse :(

My beautiful mare, Ikoss, has been lame on her hind legs on and off for about 5 weeks and it is getting very worrying! Her fetlock is full of fluid and she is unable to trot at the moment.

She is 17 years old and had a foal 3 years ago, which put a lot of strain on her physically, and we think this might have made her legs weaker in general.

We are going to get the vet down to have a look at her, I hope she gets better soon!!

Rihanna!

I thought I would make a post about my favourite celebrity ever, Rihanna!

Her real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, and she is Guyanese.

She has 13 tattoos!!

She used to compete in pageants and won her first one in 2004:

She has insured her legs for $1 million.

Barbados hold a national holiday day to honour Rihanna.

She was signed by Jay-Z at 16 years old.

She has sold more than 30 million albums and 100 million singles.

She is paid $100,000 to sit at the front row of fashion shows, Beyonce is 2nd highest paid at $80,000

"Umbrella" was the longest running number one single since 1994.

She trained with the military of Barbados as an army cadet.

I am a massive fan of her and her music and absolutely love her newest album Talk That Talk and love the song "Birthday Cake" even though it is controversial as it includes collaboration from Chris Brown, check it out here:
